Nawazuddin Siddiqui mobbed in New York during promotions

A lot of reasons explain why Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. About a week ago, the actor was mobbed at Times Square, New York, once he landed there for the promotion of his upcoming action thriller, ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’.

Siddiqui’s most recent performances have surged his popularity globally. In Sridevi-starrer, ‘Mom’, the powerhouse performer amassed praises from his fans and critics for an impeccable portrayal of a shady detective. In ‘Munna Michael’, the actor won hearts as a wannabe dancer, Mahinder Fauji and arrested the attention of viewers with his antics.

After consistently showcasing his exemplary acting skills in ‘Badlapur’ as a criminal, as a Pakistani reporter in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, as a poor labourer in ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ and as an IPS officer in ‘Raees’, Siddiqui has fast become a favourite with the directors in the industry.

Impressing directors like Nandita Das, Anurag Kashyap and Reema Kagti, who are known to push the envelope, fuelling their films on content, Siddiqui is turning every choice he has made, in his favour, purely on the strength of his talent.

Effortlessly hopping from one genre to another, Siddiqui has an incredible variety in his repertoire of films. A sure show stealer, the versatile actor will soon be seen dazzling the big screen in two highly anticipated films, ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ and a historical biopic titled ‘Manto’.
