Nargis Fakhri focuses birthday on helping girl child

The gorgeous Nargis Fakhri celebrates her 33rd birthday today but it is no ordinary birthday for her. In a totally selfless act, Fakhri has decided to help an NGO which centres on funding for education for the girl child.

The model-turned-actress who made her debut in 2011’s ‘Rockstar’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor is also encouraging her fans to donate to the cause. It is thought she has provided further details on a social networking page. She stated, as per Mid-Day, “I have never felt more blessed. I want to dedicate my birthday to this and help raise funds for the education of five girls. Instead of sending me presents, people can donate towards my endeavour”.

It certainly seems Fakhri is relying on the stardom she has earnt from her one film to do as much for the less fortunate as she can. Hats off to her!
