Mythologicals to spark up Star Plus’ schedule during coronavirus lockdown

Star Plus has turned to mythological shows to spark up its schedule during these testing times as the world fights against the coronavirus pandemic.

Starting from today (30th March), Star Plus including beams in India and UK, will have a new primetime schedule consisting of popular Hindu religious based series and one from sister channel, Star Bharat.

‘Mahabharat’, which aired previously in 2013 on Star Plus, will air at 18:00 (launch episode at 17:30), followed by ‘Siya Ke Ram’ at 19:00. This will then be followed by ‘Radhakrishn’, which will move over from Star Bharat to Star Plus at 19:30. ‘Maharaj Ki Jai Ho’ will remain in the 20:00 slot, while ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ (re-run) will move to 20:30 and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ will take the subsequent sots. ‘Nazar’ re-run will continue at 22:30.

From Monday 6th April, ‘Hostages’ from digital streaming platform, Hotstar, will take the 22:00 slot in India. A UK telecast of the show is yet to be confirmed.
