Mystery baby in Shah Rukh Khan’s family

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s surrogate baby troubles took yet another turn after reports emerged that a male baby was delivered by Gauri Khan’s sister-in-law.

According to Times Of India, Namita Chibber went into labour earlier this month. She was admitted to Breach Candy under the care of Dr Indira Hinduja.

Dr Hinduja is a pioneering doctor in assisted reproductive health who had delivered India’s first test-tube baby in 1986; she was approached by Shah Rukh Khan a few months ago to discuss the possibility of assisted delivery, sources say.

The baby, rumoured to be named Abram was prematurely born by two months and is currently in the care of paediatrician Dr Cyrus Contractor, who is closely monitoring its health.

Word has it that Gauri Khan has been routinely visiting the hospital and King Khan was spotted there earlier this week. However, despite these reports, there are no confirmed reports that the baby is theirs.

The Khans have been under fire by the Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations (IRIA) who have started a probe into how the identity of the unborn baby�۪s gender was revealed. Reports say that the new baby will be male. It is prohibited in India to discover the gender of an unborn baby.
