‘Murder 3’ to hit the screens in February 2013

Vishesh Films, of late, has been a production house most known for films that turn into franchises. 2004’s ‘Murder’ starring Emraan Hashmi, Mallika Sherawat and Ashmit Patel struck a chord with the audiences and gave way to a sequel last year. BizAsia can confirm that the third instalment is expected in February next year.

‘Murder 3’ will star Randeep Hooda and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles and will be the first in the series not to include Hashmi. The film will also mark the directorial debut of Vishesh, the son of Mukesh Bhatt who co-owns the production house.

It is thought that Hashmi has been replaced by Hooda because he simply didn’t have the time to dedicate to the film. Filming for ‘Murder 3’ is currently underway in South Africa.
