‘Mughal-E-Azam’ would be Katrina Kaif’s choice for a Bollywood remake
Katrina Kaif has shared that she would love to do a remake of a Bollywood classic sometime in the future if an opportunity ever came about.
Reported on DNA India, Kaif expressed that her dream role, if a remake of a classic was made, then it would be for ‘Mughal-E-Azam’ (1960). “I love watching old Hindi films. Some of my most favourite ones are old classics,” maybe Mughal-E-Azam. I would love to be part of the film, if it’s made again.”
So why does ‘Mughal-E-Azam’ (1960) appeal to Kaif? The ‘Jagga Jasoos’ (2017) star said the tragic love story still has a recall value. “It’s beautiful and ethereal. The whole world amazes me. So, I would love to play Anarkali. But then again, there’s a side of me who would rethink about remaking a classic which is as loved as Mughal-E-Azam.”
