MTV Beats prepares for Sky launch in UK

Viacom18 is gearing up for the launch of its Bollywood music channel, MTV Beats in the UK.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , MTV Beats will be launching this summer as the Viacom18’s fourth channel after Colors, Rishtey and Rishtey Cineplex. This would be the fourth Asian music channel in the UK, along with B4U Music, Sony Mix and Brit Asia TV.

A test label has appeared on the Sky platform off the EPG, ahead of its official launch in July. Video and audio tests are yet to begin.

Tests of MTV Beats can be viewed at the following parameters below:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 12.070 (H), FEC: 5/6, SR: 27500 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “4024″ service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “4024” to view the channel
