MS Dhoni to produce new show on stories of decorated army men

It’s been quite a while now since former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has graced a cricket pitch. Dhoni has been on a break from the game ever since the World Cup semi final against New Zealand during the summer. And as the former Indian captain served his duty in Kashmir from July to August for 15 days for his Territorial Army Battalion, Dhoni is now set to produce a show which will feature stories of decorated army men.

According to reports, the former captain is set to produce a series on the lives of the army men. As per a source close to the development of the project, the show is a series revolving around the personal stories of military officials who have been famous for gallantry with top honours like Ashoka Chakra and Param Vir Chakra, reports Spotboye. As Dhoni knows the journey of the people who have selflessly served the nation and the hardships they have faced while doing so, the sport star wants to bring them into the spotlight through this show.

The source revealed that the show will go on air in a few months and is currently being scripted. The report also stated that the team is sorting out the formalities to get the shooting started. Also, as Dhoni’s business partner, Arun Pandey, produced ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016), there have been talks that the cricketer might come up with more inspiring stories and content for the viewers and fans under his own production.

Meanwhile, Dhoni has been spending time with his family whilst on his break.
