Riteish Deshmukh won much praise for his performance in Mohit Suri۪s Ek Villain۪ (2014), even though it was a character far removed from what the audience usually sees him portraying. Apparently, Suri was so impressed with Deshmukh۪s work ethic and so happy with the response Deshmukh received, that the director and actor have already decided to work together again, this time for a biopic based on Marathi actor, Dada Kondke.
Because Riteish has a strong Marathi background and great comic timing, he has been signed for the biopic. This film wil bring Riteish and Mohit together yet again after Ek Villain۪. Mohit is known for his kind of films. Riteish and Mohti share a great off-screen chemistry. However, the film is in the initial stages as the writers are still working on it script, a source told Absolute India.
The biopic, which is expected to start shooting early next year, will be co-produced by Riteish Deshmukh himself and Akshay Kumar۪s production house, Grazing Goat Pictures.
Deshmukh will first start shooting for Y Films۪ Bank Chor۪, in which he has replaced comedian Kapil Sharma.
