Mohit Marwah essays Shaad Ali’s grandfather in ‘Raag Desh’

Mohit Marwah is set to make a comeback in ‘Raag Desh’. Following a disappointing start to his career in ‘Fugly’ (2014), there is still a chance for Marwah to turn the tables round.

Reported in Mid-Day, ‘Raag Desh’ directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, is a film that is based on the Red Fort trials of 1945. Marwah will be essaying the role of Colonel Prem Sehgal, Shaad Ali’s maternal grandfather.

Marwah and Ali have already met to discuss the character in greater detail. “During the mahurat, I took his suggestions and tips for the look and body language. I also met Colonel Sehgal’s other family members who shared many anecdotes of him with me. Their inputs have been valuable and I am looking forward to their feedback when the film releases.”
