Priyanka Chopra is not only creating waves in Hollywood, it seems she’s helping cousin Meera Chopra with the same dream.
It was reported a while back on BizAsiaLive.com that Meera will be seen in a Hollywood fantasy film. Its now emerged that Priyanka has been giving a helping hand to Meera with her western projects.
Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Meera said, “The role is for a movie series being produced by CTV, one of the biggest channels in Canada. It is the role of an Indian girl who is an astrologer and makes a big difference to the life of a Canadian couple, which is going through trying times. They are projecting astrology as a very game-chancing Indian science.”
Asked about Priyanka’s involvement in Meera’s latest work, she said, “Priyanka has always played a mentor in my life and this time too she prodded me to take it up. She has always believed in experimenting with genres because she believes that even a seemingly less promising role could take you places in your career.”
Meera denied she was aiming to take on Hollywood full-time, she said, “Not yet. I am in the process of signing two projects in Bollywod but you never know, this could just be the beginning of a great career ahead.”
