Mahira Khan has reacted to the news that ‘Raees’ will finally release in Pakistan after the ban was lifted in the country of Hindi films.
Khan joined the rest of the ‘Raees’ team on video call during a press conference to mark the film’s success. Talking about the film’s release in Pakistan, Khan was cited in Bollywood Life saying, “You have no idea how much we wanted to get films back here. Raees is a big one. I was getting calls every day. Everyone’s waiting. You can’t even imagine. If you were here you would see how many calls I get asking is it coming. So I think just like it’s done well all over the world, hopefully, they will go in storms (?? )To watch it.”
‘Raees’ will release next week, a week after rival ‘Kaabil’ hits cinemas in Pakistan. The former was the first to enter the Rs. 100 crore club in India but the Hrithik Roshan drama isn’t far behind.
