Maheep Kapoor hoping for second season of ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’

The first series grabbed the attention of online streaming watchers from the get-go, and though it had many mixed reviews, Karan Johar’s Netflix show ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ show on Netflix had the world talking. During a catch up with the media, Maheep Kapoor, who is one of the wives showcased on the show, revealed how she hopes a second season will soon follow.

Showcasing the lives are Kapoor, wife of Sanjay Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, married to Samir Soni, Chunky Panday’s wife Bhavana Pandey and Sohail Khan’s wife Seema Khan, New Indian Express reported the no-nonsense Kapoor express, “Now it depends on Netflix. They have not got back to us yet. Fingers crossed. If I had my way, yes, naturally. With this kind of success, with all the love and working with your friends — yeah — for sure.”

Being compared to the like of the American versions of real housewives from different states, Kapoor talks about how she feels about this. “It’s a reality show. When I was signed on that is when I saw these shows. I saw one episode. I mean, yeah, okay I guess but I think ours is still unique. I didn’t see the connection but people are comparing us to them,” she explained.

“I mean that is a massive success so I think we are doing a good thing. So it is fine with me. I am okay with it,” Kapoor added.

The eight-episode series gives the audience an insight into the 25-year friendship between these four ladies, and the people around them, with cameos made by their husbands, children, Johar and even Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.
