Lyca Media announces Ramadan 2021 programming

Lyca Media has announced its special programming for the Holy month of Ramadan.

Its two flagship radio brands, Lyca Radio and DilSe Radio have once again secured patron, Tariq Halal as its exclusive headline sponsor. Tariq Halal has been named as title sponsor of five daily prayers, plus Sehri and Iftar across both stations, starting from mid-April.

This year’s Ramadan programming on Lyca Radio will be fronted by Rocky Khan, who has previously broadcast Ramadan transmission on the network.

A spokesperson from Tariq Halal said, “It gives me great pleasure to extend our partnership with Lyca Media for another year. We have been sponsoring Lyca Media’s fantastic Ramadan programming for a number of years and this support will always continue.”

Raj Baddhan, CEO of Lyca Media added, “We are thrilled to have Tariq Halal as our headline sponsor for our Ramadan programming. We’ve gone the extra mile this year, as we pay tribute to the iconic Maher Khan. Not only did she help us prepare content for this year’s Ramadan, she has been synonymous with Ramadan programming on London radio.”

Lyca Media will also be paying tribute to the veteran broadcaster, Maher Khan, who passed away in March. Khan, who was synonymous with Ramadan programming on Lyca Media, was working closely with the media outlet over the last few weeks before her untimely demise.
