Vikas Bahl’s forthcoming directorial ‘Shaandaar’ is a film that is the first modern day wedding destination film. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. BizAsia‘s Showbiz Editor Amrita Tanna had the opportunity to catch up with Kapoor ahead of the release.

The actor is returning to the comedy and romantic genre after bagging all the awards for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Haider’ last year. He speaks about his journey this year and gives an insight into shooting for ‘Shaandaar’.

‘Shaandaar’ is slated for a 22nd October release and is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Phantom Films.
