Lebara Play wins gong at CSI Awards

Lebara Play�� has won in the ���Best TV everywhere/multi-screen video�۝ category with its OTT TV solution, at this year�۪s CSI Awards at the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam. Lebara�, the universal brand for the world�۪s migrant community, launched its entertainment service, Lebara Play, in June 2015. The platform is based on the OTT TV solution of SPB TV AG, a leading global provider of end-to-end OTT TV, IPTV and mobile TV solutions. The awards, organised by CSI magazine, reward technical and product marketing excellence in the cable, satellite, terrestrial broadcasting, mobile and IPTV sectors.

Lebara Play combines the best live TV entertainment with 100% legal, free and premium video on demand (VoD) content, including transactional VoD and the option to ��rent�۪ a movie. The multi-ethnic entertainment service offers access throughout Europe to more than 150 top-rated television channels and over 3,000 popular movie titles for streaming on mobile, computer and tablet. The option to watch via set-top box on a TV set is also available in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France and Canada.

The CSI Awards, now in their 13th year, were held during IBC ��� Europe�۪s most important exhibition for the broadcast community ��� in Amsterdam on 11th September. The awards are judged by an independent panel of experts comprising senior industry analysts, consultants and representatives from leading network operators.
