Lata Mangeshkar being treated for pneumonia after contracting Covid

Lata Mangeshkar is said to be being treated for pneumonia after contracting Covid earlier this week.

The veteran singer is currently in the intensive care unit of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.

NDTV reports that the singer has been undergoing treatment for pneumonia and will be kept under observation for the next 10-12 days.

Dr Pratit Samdani said, “She has both COVID-19 and pneumonia. Due to old age, it will take time to recover properly.”
