‘Laila Majnu’ to be revived

Reports are doing the rounds that Rishi Kapoor’s ‘Laila Majnu’ (1976) is to be revived.  The project, which was announced back in 2014 , is now looking very likely to go ahead.

According to Box Office India, the film will be directed by Imtiaz Ali’s younger brother – Arif Ali and will be casting newcomers in the pivotal roles.

Balaji Motion Pictures will be producing the film.
