Kushal Tandon dismisses Ajaz Khan outright

Actor turned reality TV star, Kushal Tandon has dismissed his ex-housemate, Ajaz Khan from ‘Bigg Boss’ in an interview with a publication in India.

Tandon who is one of the celebrities on Colors’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ was forced to quit the action reality TV show due to a shoulder injury. Khan was later heard telling journalists that Tandon had quit the show after he heard he was going to take part in the show.

Tandon told Times Of India, “I’m flattered that someone needs to attach his name to mine to get five seconds of fame. Some people thrive on getting fame through other people’s popularity, which they have gained after years of hard work. It’s too insignificant in my life; Ajaz Khan doesn’t exist for me. I had to opt out of the show because of an injury I sustained while performing a stunt. Note, I won that stunt. In fact, I never lost a stunt in the eight episodes of Fear Factor for which I shot. There isn’t a single time I was in the elimination round.”

Tandon’s girlfriend, Gauahar Khan who also is part of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ also threatened to quit the show after hearing about Khan’s participation. Tandon said, “Yes, but we have reached an understanding with the makers and we trust them to safeguard our interests along with meeting their requirements. Gauahar and I are on the same page regarding all decisions.”

Tandon is still in South Africa and will be treated on his shoulder after he returns to Mumbai.
