Kriti Sanon wishes to play Madhubala on celluloid

Kriti Sanon, who’s presently busy in the shoots of her upcoming movie ‘Dilwale’, wants to portray late actress Madhubala on screens.

The leggy beauty recently attended the India International Jewellery Week, where she walked the ramp as the showstopper and donned Sunil Jeweller’s collection. At the said event the ‘Heropanti’ (2014) star disclosed her wish to do a biopic on veteran actress Madhubala.

Praising the Venus Queen she told Bollywood Hungama, “She is someone who is still alive in our hearts and people still remember her. I feel she had a life which can actually be told. I think not many people know about her story and we can tell them.”

In her upcoming movie, the 25-year-old will be seen romancing Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. Other than them, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, who’ll also be playing the lead roles in the movie.

The action comedy is slated to hit the big screens on 18th December.
