‘Krishnavataram’ trailer unveiled ahead of May release

The trailer of ‘Krishnavataram’ was unveiled at Krishna Janmabhoomi, drawing a large gathering of devotees during a multi‑location launch across several sacred sites, including Raman Reti Temple, Radha Rani Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON Vrindavan.

The film is the first part of a planned three‑chapter franchise and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 7th May 2026. Directed by Hardik Gajjar, ‘Krishnavataram’ is presented and produced by Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant of Creativeland Studios, along with Poonam Shroff and Parth Gajjar of Athashrikatha Motion Pictures. The makers describe the project as “a heartfelt offering” intended to deliver an emotional and spiritual cinematic experience.

Written by Prakash Kapadia and Raam Mori, the film features cinematography by Ayananka Bose, music by Prasad S, production design by Chokkas Bhaardwaj, costumes by Nidhi Yasha and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It will be distributed globally by AA Films, with music released by Saregama.

The cast includes Siddharth Gupta, Sushmitha Bhat, Sanskruti Jayana and Nivaashiyni Krishnan.
