Presenter Konnie Huq is leaving the ‘X Factor’s’ spin-off show, ‘Xtra Factor’, it’s been confirmed.
The 35-year-old will not come back to the ITV2 show after mixed reviews from viewers and an online campaign for her get the boot.
There were rumours late last year that she wouldn’t be returning and it’s now been confirmed.
Her manager Jonathan Shallit told the Daily Mail: “Konnie Huq will not be doing Xtra Factor this year.
“She is going to be doing a big TV show on Discovery for America and Asia. The dates for which also clashed with Xtra Factor.
“ITV have said: “We thank Konnie for her contribution to The Xtra Factor and wish her all the very best for the future.”
Konnie said: “I loved doing Xtra Factor. It was so exciting. But I also cannot wait to start filming my new show for Discovery in China.”
