Katrina Kaif wanted to turn director

Ranbir Kapoor revealed that Katrina Kaif had considered turning director.  Kaif had wanted to direct a remake of the US film ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ (2014).

As part of their promotional activities for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ the duo have been in a series of interviews.  It was in one such interview where Kapoor spoke about Kaif’s ambitions saying “At one point, she felt strongly about adapting the novel into a film as a director. She had also written 10 scenes that were really brilliant”, as reported by DNA India.

Kaif said she had only written one scene but Kapoor nevertheless praised the actress.  However it seems the actress was slightly too late as the remake of the US hit is now being produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan.
