Katrina Kaif to play mother in Sujoy Ghosh’s next?

Katrina Kaif is reportedly set to play one of the toughest roles in Sujoy Ghosh’s next directorial venture.

If buzz is to be believed then, Kaif will be seen playing a single mother in the hard-hitting drama. The movie is set to be based on the Japanese novel `The Devotion Of Suspect X`. It must be noted that the maverick filmmaker was successful in creating the right kind of buzz around his `Kahaani` actress Vidya Balan, who incidentally played a pregnant women in the thriller.

It will be interesting to see Kaif play something different to what we have seen her play recently.
