Katrina Kaif ditched by Karan Johar for Ranbir Kapoor?

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif parted ways, there have reportedly been many attempts by their mutual friends to bring them back together but to no avail. Now, it seems their friends are also taking sides between the two. Recently, it’s been Karan Johar who has been forced almost to make the distinction.

Johar is said to be fond of both Kapoor and Kaif but it seems after spending the longest time not favouring one over the other, the filmmaker has had to side with his ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ male lead. A source spoke to Deccan Chronicle, “Karan avoided taking sides in the Ranbir-Katrina war for the longest time. He is fond of both, but when push came to shove, he had to pitch his tent with Ranbir, who is also the leading man in his movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Karan is close not just with Ranbir but also his parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh”.

It seems even director Ayan Mukerji has chosen to stay close to his best buddy Kapoor despite having developed a friendship with Kaif during their six-year relationship.
