Kartik Aaryan approached for Rohit Dhawan’s next?

After Varun Dhawan had confirmed he was not apart of brother Rohit Dhawan’s next, it seems like Kartik Aaryan could be in for the running instead.

According to The Asian Age, the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2020) actor was clocked arriving at the director’s house for a brief meeting on Friday, sparking rumours of a possible collaboration. It’s still remains unclear if Dhawan will be making a film based on a superhero or whether it’s for the sequel to ‘Dishoom’ (2016).

A close source shared, “Rumours immediately surfaced as to whether this would be the very script that Rohit had earlier pitched to Hrithik Roshan and then to Salman Khan before asking Varun to do the film. This is a superhero kind of a film and Kartik, who is now finally doing an action film with director Om Raut of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, will have opened up his image from a boy next door to a star actor who can take on a variety of roles including action et al.”

As for the ‘Street Dancer 3D’ (2020) actor, speculations surrounding his decision to team up with Raaj Shandaliya for an upcoming comedy still continues, following the announcement of Shahank Khaitan’s ‘Mr Lele’ being postponed.
