Karishma Tanna is Bollywood bound

Many television actors have in the past tried their luck to strike it big in Bollywood. Some have succeded while others have failed. Now TV actress Karishma Tanna is trying her luck in B-Town.

The popular television actress, best known for her portrayal as the naive, Indu Virani in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ has bagged herself the lead role in not one but two films.

The first of these films is ‘Golu Pappu’ (2013) co-starring Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor. The second is the Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi starrer ‘Sher’ (2013).

Speaking to Hindustan Times, the actress said, ���I am excited about this new phase in my life. It�۪s heartening to see talented girls like Prachi Desai and Yami Gautam making it big in films and proving themselves. I�۪m in their league as well, and with these two films, I will prove myself too.�۝

Karishma Tanna was earlier seen in a blink and miss role in Suneel Darshan’s ‘Dosti – Friends Forever’ (2005).
