Kareena Kapoor Khan learns Punjabi for ‘Udta Punjab’

It seems Kareena Kapoor Khan wants to perfect her role in the upcoming ��Udta Punjab�۪. BizAsia has learnt that the actress is taking Punjabi lessons for the film.

In 2007, Kapoor Khan acted with ex-beau Shahid Kapoor in ��Jab We Met�۪ and portrayed the character of Geet, a Punjabi girl, with much ease. Now, Kapoor Khan is all set to be a part of a Shahid starrer again and has taken to lessons in the language to up her fluency. A source close to the actress told Hindustan Times, ���Kareena needs to have a good grip on the language, and complement it with thick accent as her lines are mostly in Punjabi in the film. So, she thought it would be best to get trained.�۝ Kapoor Khan�۪s spokesperson confirmed the news that the actress would be undertaking a 10-day training period for the language.

Kapoor Khan is juggling the shoot of ��Bajrangi Bhaijaan�۪ along with her sister-in-law�۪s wedding next weekend. She is also going to be shooting for ��Udta Punjab�۪ after she has completed her item song for ��Brothers�۪.
