Kareena confirms ‘Veere Di Wedding’ shoot to begin in April

Kareena Kapoor Khan has confirmed that she will begin work on Rhea Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Veere Di Wedding’ in April.

It was expected to go on the floors last year but due to Khan’s pregnancy, the start of the film was postponed until this year. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

Khan was cited in DNA India saying, “I have always balanced my work and my marriage. People thought that I wouldn’t, and I did. I am going to continue to do that. I think women know how to multi-task. Today, you see working women out there. If you have a family, if you have a child… It doesn’t mean you are home-bound. Of course, there is time for that and work.”

Khan gave birth to her first baby, Taimur Ali Khan, in December.
