Karan Johar requests media not to spread fake news about his films

Karan Johar has hit back at section of the media, who have been spreading unverified news about the status of his films and whether they will go directly on digital platforms due to the lockdown.

Rumours about huge movie titles ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, ‘Mimi’, ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’, ‘Jhund’ and ‘Ludo’ releasing directly on digital platforms have been doing the rounds for a numbers of days. There was also news that Johar’s upcoming release ‘Brahmastra’ is facing financial constraints due to the number of delays it has incurred thusfar.

Taking to social media, Johar said, “My hugest request to my media friends not to reach any assumptions on our fraternity films… These are challenging times for the business and false news only makes the situation worse! Please wait for official news on any account!! This is a humble request….”
