Karan Johar confirms ‘Shuddhi’ cast may change

Karan Johar has given the strongest hint yet that his much talked about next release ‘Shuddhi’ may have slight tweaks in its star cast, which reportedly stars Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor.

Talking about the changes, Johar said, “Shuddhi may take six months, even a year, to go on the floors. We are still working on the schedule. Hrithik Roshan’s health issues, which lead to Bang Bang being pushed forward, has had its share of repercussions. Shuddhi stands indefinitely delayed and right now I don’t know where it is going.”

Latest word is that Kareena Kapoor may get replaced with Deepika Padukone due to her hectic film schedule. Johar said, “I can’t expect an actress to wait indefinitely. I feel terrible for Bebo, who is a special friend��� the sibling I never had.”

Johar’s next release ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ is out this weekend.
