Karan Johar: “Alia is like my child”

After launching her with ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012), Karan Johar has gone on to work with Alia Bhatt many times over the last few years. ��The duo seem to share a close bond and Johar says Bhatt is like his child.

DNA India, quote Johar as recently saying, “Alia is like a child, she’s like my child. ��She’s not only somebody I launched in cinema but (someone) I feel deeply connected to. ��So I think we have a general kind of chemistry that I think even lovers may not have. ��We have a lot of mutual love and that love kind of transfers itself automatically whether you put the camera on or whether you leave it off.”

At present, Bhatt is shooting for Johar’s production ‘Kapoor & Sons’, after which she will start on another film produced by him – ‘Shuddhi’.
