Kapoor & Bhatt family keep hush about Ranbir & Alia wedding plans

With the wedding season well underway in Bollywood, rumours are rife that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be taking their alleged relationship to the next level in the next couple of years. However, when their families were contacted about a possible wedding, nobody was ready to give anything away.

When talking to the media, Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor simply said she’d be happy for them if they did decide to tie to the knot. “Hota hi hai (It happens, the speculations). Ask him (laughs)! What can I say? I am happy if my brother is happy, and I am a very happy sister (smiles),” Hindustan Times reports Kapoor stating.

Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt in the other hand was more cryptic and simply said, “Oh, the paparazzi age is here and you have people from the outside using their premise to capture the image, because that’s what the nation is thrusting for.’ So, not saying more, I’d let the paparazzi guess if papa is raazi.”

Senior Kapoor was also asked about his son’s wedding, where he stated he just wants some grandchildren. “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone,” Rishi Kapoor stated.

It seems we’re just going to have to wait for a formal announcement for any news to be confirmed.
