After months of speculation, Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to beau Anand Ahuja has been confirmed by the couple’s families.

The ceremony will be taking place on 8th May. The joint statement by the Kapoors and the Ahujas reads, “The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. This announcement comes just days after Sonam’s mother Sunita was spotted outside their residence coordinating decorations.
