After receiving huge acclaim for her performance in ‘Queen’ (2013), Kangna Ranaut is all set for her next role in Sai Kabir’s ‘Revolver Rani’, and it seems here’s another character audiences will be anticipating to watch.

“It’s very exciting. Its total pulp. The woman is negative, brutal and very exciting,” NDTVreported the actress stating. The film is based on the novel of the same title written by Hindi author Ved Prakash Shrama. Ranaut goes onto add, “This is actually a character of a neurotic and the woman who we are going to see and the film that we are going to see is very exciting just like Ved Prakash Sharma’s novels that you find on railway stations. That’s the kind of treatment the film is carrying.”

Promotions of the film are being limited. Ranaut explains, “We have consciously decided that a film like ‘Revolver Rani’, which is being made on small scale, doesn’t need a promotion of eight weeks. I think it’s been a conscious decision to promote the film in two to three weeks only.”.

Set to release on April 25, ‘Revolver Rani’ will also star Vir Das and Piyush Mishra.
