Kangna Ranaut ready to turn to direction?

Kangna Ranaut has won many accolades of late for her performances in ‘Queen’ (2014) and, more recently, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (2015). However, it is known that the actress went on a filmmaking course not long ago. The latest buzz suggests that she is now wanting to direct a film, having a script already ready to make the plunge with.

Absolute India report a source stating, “Kangna has always expressed a desire to direct a film. She was, in fact, all set to go to America to direct a film with a friend there, but the success of Queen made her come back to India for more acting assignments. She eventually wants to direct a film. It is a woman-centric subject and she’s on the hunt for the right producer.”

The actress herself maintains that she’s still concentrating on acting, “These rumours are quite absurd. No, I am not looking for producers right now. My dates are booked till 2017. How can I be directing a film?”

It remains to be seen whether she does end up directing a film some time soon.
