Kangna Ranaut can now get choosy with roles

Though she has been in the industry for some time now, it wasn’t until very recently that people really tarted to see how great of an actress Kangna Ranaut really is, and it seems it’s all paying off very well.

With the success of her film ‘Queen’ (2013), Ranaut feels that filmmakers are now taking her a lot more seriously, where she is able to choose the kind of work she wants to do. “I am now in a position to choose roles. I did not have so many offers before ‘Queen’, but now things have changed a lot,” ZEE News reported the actress stating.

Kangna will next be seen in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ , which is a sequel to ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ (2011). With the prequel being the story of Tanu and Manu’s love story, the second film tells the story of the couple who are on the verge of divorce. Talking about the film, Ranaut explains, “This kind of a love story on contemporary marriage has not been done before. It has a subtle and relatable humour.”

Set to hit the big screens on 22nd May, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ will also star R. Madhavan and Jimmy Shergill.
