Kangana Ranaut not mature enough for Sujoy Ghosh’s next?

Kangana Ranaut was apparently not mature enough for the lead role in Sujoy Ghosh’s next ‘Durga Rani Singh’.

Last week it was reported that Ranaut pulled out due to her dates clashing with the schedule of her scriptwriting course in New York. However, word has it that in actual fact it was the co-producers who were not in favour of Kangana doing the film.

���Sujoy�۪s co-producers wanted a more experienced actor for the lead role. They weren�۪t too convinced that Kangana can do justice to the role of the 35-year-old mother of a 14-year-old paralytic girl … they wanted someone more mature,�۝ a source told Hindustan Times.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is looking firm favourite to bag the role, which was initially offered to Vidya Balan.

���They�۪ve almost finalised on Kareena … just waiting for her to sign the contract,�۝ adds a source close to the filmmaker.

���I had prior commitments, so I could not do Sujoy�۪s film,�۝ says Kangana. ���But it is an amazing film, an amazing script and he will do best whatever it will be (sic),�۝ she adds.
