Kajol’s mother Tanuja diagnosed with diverticulitis

After it was earlier reported that Kajol’s mother Tanuja has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, rumours have been rife about the veteran’s health.

Hindustan Times reports that the 75-year old star has been diagnosed with diverticulitis, a condition which results in the inflammation or infection of small pouches called diverticula that develop along the walls of the intestines.

Kajol was spotted outside the hospital, just two days after the death of her father-in-law, Veeru Devgan.
