Juhi Chawla lines up several projects post-lockdown

Juhi Chawla’s upcoming film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ is in murky waters now due to the pandemic, but she cannot wait to continue shooting once the situation improves.

An official announcement regarding ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ has not been made yet, but Chawla shared that a well-known female director is onboard. “A little bit of shooting still remains. The film is to complete its post-production work as well,” she told Deccan Chronicle.

Apart from this project, Chawla may also be starring in a webseries and another film with a South Indian director, “Earlier last year, a South director named Ajayan, residing in New York, had approached me for a film. The story of this film is very metro driven, but owing to my date issues, I had backed out of that project. But yes, now since things seem to be going at its pace, I think I can take that conversation ahead.”
