John-Priya to throw wedding party for friends

When Bollywood hunk John Abraham married his ladylove Priya Runchal in a secret wedding in Los Angeles at New Years, no doubt many of his industry friends were feeling a little cheated. However, the couple are indeed planning a party to celebrate the tying of their nuptials next week, BizAsia has learnt.

Director Shoojit Sircar, close friend of Abraham, spoke of his disappointment that there was no celebration. He will be happy to know of this forthcoming bash which Abraham is currently organising. Priya is said toe be flying into Mumbai from LA next week and Abraham�۪s father has confirmed that the house is being amended to accommodate the new addition to their family as well as make way for a descent of the Bollywood film fraternity for the party.

Those currently on the guestlist include Sircar, Anil Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan to name a few. Priya is said to have wanted a more intimate gathering as opposed to a big (in numbers) bash but one wonders whether a certain Miss Basu and Mr Baweja will also be invited? Wait and watch.
