John Abraham’s wife Priya to assist him in business?

Whilst��some reports had suggested there was trouble in paradise for John Abraham and wife, Priya Runchal, whose marriage was heading towards rocky waters, this appears far from the truth. BizAsia has learnt that Runchal is going to help out in Abraham’s business.

Runchal, who had been working as an investment banker in the USA, moved to Mumbai earlier this year to be closer to her actor husband. In fact, not only has this seemed to strengthen their relationship but Runchal has also taken an initiative to use her business acumen in assisting the ‘New York'(2009) superstar with his business endeavours. A source close to the Bollywood actor, as per the��Hindustan Times, confirmed, “She is using her expertise to help John in his business enterprises. She will help him reorganise his football franchise and establish his fitness brand across the country. She has suggested that to make the fitness brand better, they should launch merchandise and apps, and also start a few gyms.”

It is said the model turned actor, who��has��a great physique, wants to focus on his fitness based initiatives, “He wants to share his knowledge about sports and fitness which he has accumulated over the years, with everyone” adds the source.

The venture will also allow Runchal to establish herself in a new city. “Priya also wants to start her corporate venture in the city. She wants to use her experience at World Bank and other big banks for the betterment of society.”

Abraham was unable to confirm the news.
