John Abraham scraps idea to remake ‘The Invisible Guest’

Earlier plans for John Abraham to remake ‘The Invisible Guest’ have reportedly been scrapped.

According to DNA India, Taapsee Pannu was going to be seen opposite Abraham but the project will no longer be happening. Apparently, the film was going to be co-produced by Prernaa Arora and Sunir Kheterpal, however, Arora recently opted out.

A source told the publication, “John has shelved the idea of making the film. There was a lot of disagreement on the film, right from the beginning. Now, John plans to produce another thriller next year, details of which aren’t out yet.”

The source added, “There are no takers for the film with John and Taapsee. Nobody wants to buy the film, which would mean the film, if made, can run into huge losses for John, if it doesn’t work. Also, the whole suspense and twist in the story is out so it didn’t make sense anymore.”
