Jasmin Bhasin quits Star Plus’ ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’

Jasmin Bhasin has quit Star Plus’ popular series ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’.

The show, which has been on-air since January 2019, has been a slow burner in ratings. To ramp up the drama on the show, the production house will be introducing a generation leap, which has resulted in the show’s protagonist to quit. Apparently, Bhasin was uncomfortable bonding with a child in ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’.

Confirming the news, producer, Gul Khan was cited in PinkVilla saying, “Jasmin was not okay bonding with a child in the show. Even though she had agreed on the storyline, on scenes level she was uncomfortable. We do not want any actor to be uncomfortable or unhappy while shooting. So we amicably parted ways. We wish her all the best.”
