Jacqueline Fernandez to perform item song in Salman Khan’s ‘Hero’?

Jacqueline Fernandez saw a successful turn in her acting��career post working with Salman Khan in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ (2014). ��Fernandez has often gone on record to credit Khan for the positive change in her career and will now allegedly��be seen in an item song in Khan’s upcoming production, ‘Hero’.

Fernandez apparently��struggled with working out dates for the item song and therefore Khan was also considering good friend Sonakshi Sinha to step in. ��”However, Jacqueline got back to him in a few days with a commitment to do the item song. ��In fact, she has already started rehearsing for it,” a source informed��Mid Day.

Fernandez has previously performed popular item songs such as��Dhanno��in ‘Housefull’ (2010) and��Jadoo Ki Jhappi��from ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ (2013).

Being produced by Salman Khan and directed by Nikhil Advani, ‘Hero’ is a remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 release of the same name. ��The film is set to release on 3rd July and will launch newcomers Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
