Jacqueline Fernandez as Sangeeta Bijlani in ‘Azhar’?

Kareena Kapoor Khan may well have declined the offer to be a part of the but that didn�۪t deter makers from looking for a replacement. It seems that Jacqueline Fernandez is now firm favourite to play Sangeeta Bijlani in Mohammad Azharuddin�۪s biopic, being made by Anthony D�۪Souza.

Apparently, Fernandez has given look tests for the part and makers will be announcing their decision about the leading lady very soon. Emraan Hashmi is cast as male lead and has been training under Azharuddin himself to really get into the shoe�۪s of the character.

Reportedly, Kapoor Khan chose ��Udta Punjab�۪ over ��Azhar�۪.
