‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ lyrics translated, courtesy of SRK

Twitter was taken by storm when the title of the forthcoming Yash Raj Film was announced as ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. So much so was the topic’s popularity that it trended worldwide on the micro-blogging site. Along with the title revelation and poster, the lyrics of the title song were also released.

With a tweet full of promise, Shah Rukh Khan vowed to post an English translation of the lyrics. He said, “Will do my own english translation of the poem & update. Am glad most liked the title…i am getting used to it myself…Jab Tak Hai JAAN..”

Well, it seems Khan has come through on that very promise just a few hours later. He tweeted, “my first attempt at translation….second to follow….if you guys can…try a version please” followed by an English translation.
