ITV considering takeover of Channel 4
ITV is reportedly considering bidding for Channel 4 after it emerged that the government was preparing to privatise the network.
The Times reports that former Channel 4 boss, Lord Michael Grade, is also said to be in contention with ITV to takeover the fourth British terrestrial service.
Lord Grade ran Channel 4 between 1988 and the early 90s, is currently the chairman of Miroma. He was also went on to chair BBC and ITV.
