Is Anurag Kashyap the “Bollywood guy” mentioned in Epstein Files?

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has reportedly been cited in a series of email exchanges contained within the recently released Epstein Files, prompting online speculation despite no evidence whatsoever connecting him allegedly to Jeffrey Epstein. The documents, which have drawn global attention, include references to a “Bollywood guy”, a description some reports suggest may refer to Kashyap.

According to these reports, Kashyap’s reference appears in correspondence between Epstein and individuals including Giuseppe Bersani, Gino Yu, and Ornella Corazza. The emails discuss Epstein’s planned travel to Cuba and other international destinations, and mention Kashyap as a potential attendee at workshops centred on Buddhism, technology and medicine. In one exchange, he is described simply as “a famous Bollywood director”.

However, the material provides no indication that Kashyap and Epstein ever met, nor that they were present in the same location at any time. The references appear incidental, and there is nothing in the documents to suggest any form of association beyond being mentioned in passing.

Kashyap has not commented publicly on the reports. As analysts continue to examine the extensive cache of documents, it remains clear that no link has been established between the filmmaker and any of Epstein’s alleged activities.
