Even though Hassan Zuberi is based in Preston, this has no way deterred the hugely successful businessman to create his niche outside London. Zuberi has turned his agency into one of the biggest forces amongst its rivals. He represents some of the most prominent and credible brands from across the UK, Pakistan and India. BizAsia caught up with Zuberi to find out more for his plans for House Of Advertising, which was previously known as What Next Media.

House Of Advertising is the new branding for What Next Media, what’s the reason behind the new company?
What Next Media is now a separate company and I am no longer associated with it. With House Of Advertising, there was a desire to update the brand for over a year and with recent developments into production and artist management we felt this was the right time to refresh things. I would like to thank Mitesh Patel who very kindly suggested our new name.

What’s your main goals for House of Advertising?
My main aim is to become a leading agency in the UK which is known for meeting client needs through effective planning, efficient budget management and excellent service.

With the UK market saturated with ethic media agencies, where do you see House Of Advertising place amongst its rivals?
I believe the market has an immense amount of potential and there is a need for a personalised, dedicated and caring service provider.

What kind of service will you provide that others agencies may not be able to?
We have a fantastic network of relationships with all the main stream networks and our focus is based on getting the best results for our clients. We promise to always be honest, open and transparent ensuring our clients are positioned to achieve the best outcomes for their business. Our clients success is our success.

What do you think of the UK Asian TV market?
The UK Asian TV market is maturing and quality is paramount. Viewers demand quality content and those who continuously improve and evolve will lead in the market.

Do you think it’s a positive move for so many UK Asian channels to be signing up to BARB?
I do think this is a positive move and it allows the channels to get a view on their market positions. Those that are not faring well can use this data to develop effective strategies to improve their ratings.

When it comes to your clients, what is the most important factor for them in the service you provide?
Our clients want clear and concise information and a media plan which achieves their brand objectives. Our aim is to provide a service where our clients always feel comfortable and confident that each every penny of their budget is being utilised in the most effective way. I love to share ideas and brainstorm with my clients so that they participate and have ownership of the process. We work together from the drawing board to the end result the feeling is amazing as those very first sketches come to life!

As well as media buying & planning, you are foraying into other parts of media such as ad production and managing television artists, tell us a bit about that?
This is an exciting development at House of Advertising. My team and I and have been blessed with some amazing relationships built on trust, respect and integrity. These relationships have developed over time and some leading artists have put their faith in us and have encouraged us into the foray of ad production and management.

Any final message?
There is a saying in life ‘what goes around comes around’ – so we at House Of Advertising take these words to heart. We want great things to ‘come around’ so we spend our time in positive thinking and positive energy. I am grateful to Almighty God and would like to thank Rizwan Iqbal, who has been with me all the way with his support, guidance and love. I am sincerely grateful for this opportunity to share my thoughts with you and your readers. Thank you!
